The new SmileMobile, a three-chair mobile dental van that travels the state offering dental services to children, teens and pregnant women who might not otherwise have access to dental care, will be in Kent the weeks of April 23-May 4.
The SmileMobile, is staffed with a clinic manager, dentist and dental assistant. It will be parked at Kent Elementary School, 24700 64th Ave. S.
The program accepts Apple Health (Medicaid) and offer a sliding fee scale based on family income and size.
The SmileMobile is operated by the Arcora Foundation, a nonprofit organization funded by Delta Dental of Washington in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital.
The SmileMobile, which travels the state year-round providing services ranging from exams and preventive care to fillings and minor oral surgery, has examined and treated more than 40,000 families in communities throughout the state.
