The King County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find those responsible for the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found in the bushes in Maple Valley.
Robert Leroy Frederick Riley, 57, and Ashley Nichole Williams, 34, each died of a gunshot wound of the chest, according to a Nov. 20 report by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, which ruled each death a homicide.
The bodies were found Nov. 16 in the bushes and under trash and debris near the intersection of SE 252nd Street and 238th Avenue SE, according to the sheriff’s office.
The events surrounding how the bodies came to be at the location are still under investigation.
Just before 1 p.m. on Nov. 16, a resident called 911 to report a deceased body in the bushes, according to the sheriff’s office. Maple Valley Police and fire department personnel arrived and determined the person found was deceased.
King County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and revealed two bodies were found.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 206-263-2090 or email mcutips@kingcounty.gov or anonymously via P3Tips.app.
The sheriff’s office said it had no further information to release.
