The King County Sheriff’s Office is requesting public assistance to identify subjects involved in a home invasion robbery in unincorporated Kent on Thursday.

Four black men wearing masks reportedly fired at least two gunshots during a home invasion robbery at about 6:10 a.m. in the 4200 block of South 272nd Street, near Star Lake Elementary.

Two people inside the home were injured from assaults, not gunfire, according to a King County Sheriff’s Office media release. Their injuries were not serious.

The men broke into the house yelling that they were the police. It appears they were seeking money that was not at the house. The home contained a small marijuana grow intended for personal use. The men got away with a small amount of money and several small electronic devices.

It seems that the house was specifically targeted and there is no reason to believe that the public is at any increased risk, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives do not believe the marijuana grow played any role in the robbery.

K-9 units from the Sheriff’s Office tracked to an area where detectives believe a car was used for the men to escape.

If you can identify the subject below or have other information about the robbery, please contact the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311 or CrimeStoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
