The northbound lane of 132nd Avenue Southeast on Kent’s East Hill is expected to be closed until about 5 p.m. Friday between Kent-Kangley Road and Southeast 256th Street because of a semi accident.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes, according to City Public Works officials. The closure started at about 1 p.m. on the highly traveled street. Police are on the scene to investigate the accident and provide traffic control. Police have not yet released any details about the accident.
Kent Police updated that the street will be closed for a few hours in both directions at about 1:50 p.m. between South 256th Street and South 259th Street.
