Seattle Thunderbirds Dave Sutter to attend Team Switzerland selection camp | Hockey

Thunderbird general manager Russ Farwell today announced defenseman Dave Sutter will be attending the Team Switzerland selection camp for the 2012 World Junior Championships being held in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, from December 26 to January 5.

Seattle Thunderbird general manager Russ Farwell today announced defenseman Dave Sutter will be attending the Team Switzerland selection camp for the 2012 World Junior Championships being held in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, from December 26 to January 5.

Sutter, from Monthey, Switzerland, is one of 33 players invited to the selection camp for Team Switzerland. The Swiss selection camp is being held in Red Deer, Alberta. Sutter attended the Team Switzerland selection camp for the 2011 World Junior Championship and was the last player cut.

Sutter has played in all 30 games this season and has three goals and eight assists, a plus/minus rating of minus-3 and 20 penalty minutes. He was a first round selection, 34th overall, in the 2010 CHL Import Draft by the T-Birds.

The T-Birds host the Tri-City Americans in the second game of a home-and-home series tonight at 7:05pm at ShoWare Center.

T-Birds single game tickets for the 2011-12 season are available online at the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday game days at 10 a.m. and Sunday game days at noon.

T-Birds season tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
