An afternoon shooting in SeaTac Tuesday left two people wounded, one seriously. No suspects were arrested; however one person was detained and booked on an outstanding firearms violation warrant.
The shooting occurred just after 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Willows Lake Apartments, 3002 S. 208th. There an argument between four men and shots rang out. The two wounded men ran to the complex office, and the manager called 9-1-1.
Both men were taken to Harborview. One of the men suffered serious injuries, as he was hit two or three times. The other man was “winged” and therefore did not suffer serious injuries. Both men are in there early 20s.
Two pistols were found in the parking lot.
Meanwhile, King County Sheriff’s deputies and SeaTac police scoured the neighborhood looking for two men seen running from the scene of the shooting. One man, 17, was found, detained and booked on a warrant for being a felon in possession of a handgun. Information as to his city of residence was unavailable on deadline.
During the search for the suspects a third handgun was found in a wooded area nearby.
As of late Tuesday afternoon, detectives weren’t sure which, if any, of the men knew each other. They also did not have a motive for the shooting, and didn’t know who wielded which gun.
