The Rotary Club of Kent-Sunrise honored students, teachers and a staff member from Cedar Heights Middle School for the month of May.
Those honored from Cedar Heights at a May 10 ceremony were: Daniel Drake, David Nydegger, Dylan Bartlett, Morgan Fong, Rhonda Reynolds and Courtney DinAlpha XR.
In keeping with our “Service Above Self” motto, the club sets one meeting each month during the school year to honor a Kent School District middle school.
The six honorees represent two for academic achievement, two for citizenship recognition along with an outstanding teacher and a supportive staff member. They, along with their parents, are invited to breakfast for the special early morning presentation.
