As of this morning, Feb. 24:

• James Street hill (South 240th from 104th Avenue South to Central Avenue South) is NOW OPEN.

• There is a blocking accident on westbound South 277th Street Corridor coming down from 108th Ave Southeast. Police and street crews are on site and may have to close at least the westbound lanes to clear the vehicles involved. This will affect South 277th Street from at least 108th Avenue Southeast to G Street Northeast near the bottom of the hill.

• “Old” South 208th Street from 92nd Avenue South to 96th Avenue South remains closed.

• Garrison Creek Hill (South 218th Street) remains closed from 98th Avenue South down around the corner on 88th Avenue South to approximately South 222nd. This also includes the closure of 93rd Avenue South from South 218th Street to South 222nd Street.

• Street-maintenance crews continue to work 24 hours a day to keep as many roads open as possible throughout this snow event.

Please remember that even open roads can be very slippery and drivers should remain cautious at all times.

Drive only if necessary and please drive carefully.
