With kitten season in full swing, Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) during the month of August is offering half price off a second kitten with the adoption of one kitten at the normal fee of $100. Regular pet licensing fees apply.
“By adopting two kittens, not only are you getting twice the love, but also a pair of playmates for life,” RASKC manager Dr. Gene Mueller said in a county media release.
In addition, during the ASPCA/Rachael Ray $100K Challenge, which runs until Aug. 31, RASKC is waiving the adoption fee for adult cats over six months old. A “discount dogs” special, where adult dogs over six months old can be adopted for just $50, ends soon.
“We’ve saved more than 500 animals’ lives during the first two months of the $100K Challenge,” Mueller said.
All cats and dogs adopted from RASKC come spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and have received a veterinary health exam.
