Residents can dispose of recyclable items that are not normally accepted at the curb from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, at Meridian Middle School, 23480 120th Ave. SE., in Kent.
Each spring, summer and fall the City of Kent hosts a Recycling Collection Event, so instead of items going to the landfill as trash, all items collected at the event will be reused or recycled.

Propane Tanks
Appliances
CFC Appliances – Refrigerators, Freezers, AC Units
Mattresses
Shredding
Bulky Yard Debris
Concrete
Batteries
Styrofoam
Electronics (No TV’s or monitors – visit e-cycle Washington for more details)
Cardboard
Reusable Household Goods and Clothing
Porcelain – Toilets and Sink
This program is only for household materials from King County residents and is funded by: City of Kent Public Works Department, King County Solid Waste Division, the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County and Washington State Department of Ecology.
