Snow mixed with rain is predicted for Wednesday night with only rain expected after 10 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

About 5 inches of snow fell Wednesday in Kent.

Temperatures are predicted to climb to 47 on Friday as rain washes away the snow.

Here is the forecast for the next few days

Wednesday afternoon: Snow. High near 32. North northeast wind around 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Wednesday night: Snow, possibly mixed with rain, mainly after 4 a.m. Snow level 200 feet. Low around 29. North wind between 9 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday: Rain and snow, becoming all rain after 10 a.m. Snow level rising to 1,000 feet. High near 36. North wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 35. South southeast wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Friday: Rain. High near 47. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Friday Night: Rain. Low around 39. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Saturday: Rain. High near 45. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Saturday Night: Rain. Cloudy, with a low around 36.
