The Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority will be setting up several cooling centers on Wednesday in Kent, Covington and SeaTac.
Cooling centers will provide bottled water and air conditioning for people that need to get out of the high temperatures in the 90s predicted for the rest of this week.
The cooling centers will be available during each building’s normal business hours.
The locations:
Covington Library: 27100 164 Ave. SE. Covington
Kent Library: 212 Second Ave. N. Kent
Valley View Library: 17850 Military Rd. S. SeaTac
Kent Commons Community Center: 525 Fourth Ave. N. Kent
Seatac Community Center: 13735 24th Ave. S. SeaTac
Kent Senior Center: 600 E. Smith St. Kent
Other locations to escape the heat include air conditioned malls, movie theaters and museums.
