A Kent woman reported to Kent Police what appeared to be an abduction of an 18-to-22-year-old woman at about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of South 260th Street on the West Hill.
The woman told officers that while waiting for traffic to clear so she drive onto the street, she saw a woman walking down the sidewalk toward her, according to a Kent Police media release.
An older gray van drove up next to the woman, the sliding door opened and a man grabbed the woman and pulled her into the van. The van then drove away toward Pacific Highway South.
The witness described the woman as a white female, ages 18 to 22, 5 feet 5, thin, and shoulder-length blond hair. The woman wore a denim jacket with a gray hood, blue jeans and carried a blue backpack.
The van had no windows on the sides and tinted dark back windows. The driver’s door had a red-colored symbol or sticker.
