UPDATE: Federal Way Police report that Inderjit Singh’s body was recovered Friday, March 30 in Steel Lake. A citizen called to report a person floating in the lake around 2:45 p.m. The person was later identified as Singh, 56. The cause of death was reported as suicide by drowning and there were no signs of foul play, according to police.

Police asked for the public’s help to locate a Federal Way woman reported missing Monday, March 26.

According to a media release, Singh was reported missing by her husband, Gian Singh. Gian Singh told police he had not seen his wife since 5:40 a.m. that day.

According to a Federal Way Police crime blotter report, Inderjit Singh had left her vehicle, keys, purse and phone at their residence. Inderjit Singh took only her identification.
