A verbal dispute turned physical when a girlfriend threw a blender at her boyfriend at about 6:15 p.m. Sept. 21 in the kitchen of a Kent home in the 27000 block of 125th Avenue Southeast.

A verbal dispute turned physical when a girlfriend threw a blender at her boyfriend at about 6:15 p.m. Sept. 21 in the kitchen of a Kent home in the 27000 block of 125th Avenue Southeast.

The boyfriend walked out of the house and called 911 to report that his girlfriend had thrown a blender at him, according to the police report. The woman missed the boyfriend with the blender, but hit a wall with the small appliance. Officers noticed a hole about the size of a basketball in the kitchen wall near where the man said he had been sitting.

Officers arrested the woman for investigation of fourth-degree assault and booked her into the city jail.

The boyfriend told police he was sitting at the kitchen table playing a computer game when the argument started. The report did not indicate how the argument started. The boyfriend said all of a sudden his girlfriend was throwing a blender at him.

When the boyfriend walked out of the house, the girlfriend reportedly punched him. The girlfriend denied throwing the blender, but admitted she did punch him in the back on his way out of the house, because he keeps walking away from her when she’s talking.

Robbery

A teen-age boy told police that two men he estimated at ages 19 to 21 punched him and took his cash at about 9:15 a.m. Sept. 23 in a public restroom at a shopping mall in the 400 block of Ramsay Way South.

The teen told officers he was about to leave the restroom when two males entered, rushed over to him, reportedly pushed him up against a wall and demanded his money, according to the police report.

The teen told the officers he gave the men the few dollars he had. Each man then allegedly punched him in the ribs. As the men left the restroom, one of them punched the teen in the face. The teen slumped to the floor against the wall.

The attack left the teen with injuries to his ribs and jaw. Paramedics transferred the boy to the Highline Medical Center in Burien.

Police searched the neighborhood but did not find the two men reportedly involved in the attack.

Drugs

A report of three males in a car parked at a construction site at about 11:05 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 24400 block of 110th Place Southeast led to the arrest of two for investigation of drug offenses.

When officers walked up to the car, the driver opened the door. The officer said he could smell marijuana coming from the car, according to the police report.

The driver told police they were just, “chilling out.” Officers also reportedly saw a glass pipe on the front floorboard of the car.

Police arrested one man for investigation of possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers arrested a second man for investigation of marijuana possession. The two men were cited and released. No citations were given to the third man in the car.

An officer had asked one of the men if he had any marijuana left. The man pulled out of his pockets a small plastic bag with green, leafy material in it. Officers later found the contents of the bag tested positive for marijuana.
