Plenty of graduates to march at ShoWare Center in Kent

Get ready to see a lot of high school and college graduates around the ShoWare Center in Kent over the next two weeks.

Kentridge High students celebrate their graduation last June at the ShoWare Center. Numerous graduation ceremonies are scheduled over the next two weeks at the Kent arena.

Get ready to see a lot of high school and college graduates around the ShoWare Center in Kent over the next two weeks.

The parade of graduation ceremonies begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at the city-owned arena with the University of Phoenix followed by Highline Community College at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 9 and Green River Community College at 7 p.m. Friday, June 10.

Kent schools march through the arena on Saturday, June 11 with Kentwood at 9 a.m.; Kentlake at 12:30 p.m.; Kentridge at 3:30 p.m.; and Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m.

The Central Washington University (Des Moines branch) graduation is at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12.

Renton schools take over the facility on Tuesday, June 14 with Lindbergh at 12:30 p.m.; Hazen at 4 p.m.; and Renton at 7 p.m. Highline schools will have ceremonies on Saturday, June 18 and Monday, June 20.
