Kent’s Ernest Wead captured this image of the Emerald Day.
As Wead describes:
“I went walking in Seattle on Sunday … such a rainy day. Spent some time at the waterfront and Sculpture Park. I later went to West Seattle and the sky started to clear. Just wonderful clouds started to form over the city. Just sent me running to capture what was there. Just so great to see the weather this time of year. Actually this was more than a thrill to see for me. Never have I seen a “cloud bow” instead of a rainbow. Since retiring I get to go out every day to see so much.”
