Man shot by King County Sheriff’s deputy in Burien after high-speed chase

A King County Sheriff's deputy shot and killed a 25-year-old man in the parking lot of a Burien apartment complex Sunday, April 17, following a high speed car chase. The man's address on his car registration is in Covington. He was shot 8:20 p.m. and died at the scene.

Apartment fire displaces two Kent residents | Kent Regional Fire Authority

Two Kent residents were displaced from their home today when a fire started in their apartment, located in the 25100 block of 97 Pl. S. No one was in the apartment when the fire was reported at 6:32 p.m.. The two residents are being cared for by family. The apartment directly above the fire apartment was evacuated initially as a precaution. Those residents were allowed to return after a short period of time. That apartment did not sustain any damage. There were no reports of any injuries.
