The newest Regional Club in Washington called Pacific Northwest Soccer Club (PacNW SC) opened.

PacNW SC is the coming together of two current RCL clubs, Greater Renton FC and Dos FC. The new club will provide better opportunities for premier level soccer players throughout the Greater Renton Jr and Kent Youth Soccer Association areas.

Both clubs focus their trainings at the Starfire Sports Complex, share an extensive border and believe that the combined resources will enhance the premier player’s soccer experience.  Washington Youth Soccer supports the merger and will continue to work with the new club in the details of its creation.  Please insert a quote from Doug about the vision of WYS here.

“This is an exciting moment for the Puget Sound Soccer Community,” said Leighton O’Brien, technical director. “Pacific Northwest Soccer Club was created from the sole desire to develop the most player friendly soccer club in the state. We will train and play out of the world class Starfire Sports Complex, which allows us the ability to benefit youth players from all over the Puget Sound area. Our newly planned training curriculum, followed by all coaches, promotes proper soccer education to all our players.”

Pacific Northwest Soccer Club believes in creating a positive impact on our youth players both on and off the soccer field.  The club is a NIKE team club and features events such as, the inaugural PacNW Memorial Day Cup Tournament and the 2012 PacNW College Camp, for U15-U18 players, scheduled for July 24-26.
