A 26-year-old Kent man died after running his motorcycle into a parked vehicle early Tuesday morning in the 27400 block of 145th Avenue Southeast on Kent’s East Hill, just south of Lake Meridian.
Officers responded to a single motorcycle crash at about 3:45 a.m., according to an email from Kent Police spokesman Jarod Kasner. Officers arrived along with paramedics but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. As of Tuesday, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office had not yet released his name.
“There were no other victims and the vehicle that was struck was unoccupied at the time of the collision,” Kasner said. “Factors contributing to the collision are still under investigation.”
