More 405 lane closures start next week

Drivers can expect nighttime lane closures on I-405 in Bellevue, Renton and Tukwila next week

BELLEVUE – Drivers should expect delays on northbound I-405 in south Bellevue on Tuesday night. Crews will close all northbound I-405 at 112th Avenue SE on July 7 from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. for paving. During the closure, drivers will be detoured off the freeway onto the off-ramp at 112th Avenue SE and then to the on-ramp to northbound I-405.

Crews may also close lanes and ramps during the night and early morning hours from July 6-9 in the Bellevue, Renton and Tukwila area for construction work.

The closures include:

Bellevue

·Up to three lanes in each direction on I-405 from SR 520 to I-90.

·Two lanes on northbound I-405 from 112th Avenue SE to Coal Creek Parkway.

·The carpool lane on eastbound I-90 at I-405.

·The ramps at the downtown Bellevue, I-90, Coal Creek Parkway and 112th Avenue SE interchanges.

Renton and Tukwila

·The carpool lane in each direction on I-405 between I-5 and SR 167.

·One lane on northbound I-405 between SR 167 and SR 169.

·The on-ramp from northbound SR 167 to northbound I-405.
