Two suspects were caught in Kent early Friday morning reportedly robbing a 76 gas station store in Maple Valley.
At about 2:54 a.m., King County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a robbery along Maple Valley Black Diamond Road Southeast, said Sheriff’s Office Capt. Tim Meyer in a phone interview.
Deputies located a vehicle reportedly involved in the robbery and pursued it. At about 3 a.m., the vehicle went out of control in the 20800 block of 100th Avenue Southeast in Kent. Two suspects were taken into custody. They face potential charges of felony eluding, robbery and other offenses, Meyer said.
Meyer said it’s an ongoing investigation and he did’t have many details he could release, including whether a gun was displayed during the robbery or the ages and hometowns of the suspects.
Kent Police, Renton Police and the Sheriff’s Office Guardian-1 helicopter assisted in the pursuit.
