A man suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound to the head at about 7:50 p.m. Wednesday in the North Park neighborhood near Second Avenue North and West Cloudy Street, just east of the accesso ShoWare Center.
When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to his head, according to a Kent Police news release. Police did not release the age of the man. Paramedics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Detectives talked with a possible witness and canvassed the neighborhood looking for any additional witnesses and/or surveillance video. Detectives are still trying to determine what led up to the shooting.
