A man in his 20s suffered two gunshot wounds that were not life threatening during a reported road rage incident Sunday night on the East Hill in Kent.
The shooting occurred at about 10:04 p.m. westbound on Southeast 240th Street near 102nd Avenue Southeast, according to Kent Police. It started as a road rage incident as two cars drove west on Southeast 240th Street. It escalated until the suspect shot at the victim’s car, somewhere near the Fred Meyer store. No suspects were identified but the case is ongoing.
The victim would not provide any information about what transpired and walked off, said Kent Police Assistant Chief Jarod Kasner in an email. Witnesses told officers about the road rage between two vehicles. Officers canvassed the area, but did not locate any evidence.
