King County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a man suspected of robbing banks in Kent, Maple Valley and Des Moines.
Detectives made the arrest of the 30-year-old Maple Vally man on Monday after tips from viewers of the “Washington’s Most Wanted” television show on Q13, according to a Sheriff’s Office media release. The robber’s photo and details of the case were aired on the show Friday night.
Detectives arrested the man at his parents’ home in Maple Valley.
The man reportedly robbed the Bank of America branch in the 23700 block of Witte Road in Maple Valley on Aug. 24. Detectives said the suspect is also believed to be the same man that robbed a Key Bank in Des Moines and a Chase Bank in Kent. Both of those robberies were on Sept. 6.
