A male was shot and injured early Wednesday morning, March 1 on the West Hill in Kent.
Officers responded at about 7:06 a.m. to a 911 call about a shooting in the 3400 block of South 256th Street, which is just east of Interstate 5 and west of Military Road South, according to a Kent Police statement. The caller reported the person had been shot a few minutes prior.
Officers found a male with a life-threatening injury, according to police. Puget Sound Fire responded and provided medical aid. Detectives are working to identify the male and police have not released an age of the male.
A vehicle was seen leaving the area, but it is unknown if it is related to the shooting.
