The 18th Annual Letter Carrier’s Food Drive is scheduled for May 9. With the economy slumping, food pantries are reporting record numbers of people seeking assistance, many for the first time. All citizens need to do to help is place a bag or box of non-perishable food in or near their mailbox before the letter carrier delivers the mail on May 9. For more information, call 253-854-5499.
