Las Vegas entertainer to perform at Kent Senior Center

Highly acclaimed Las Vegas entertainer Larry G. Jones will perform on Thursday, March 19 as part of the Kent Place series at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.

Highly acclaimed Las Vegas entertainer Larry G. Jones will perform on Thursday, March 19 as part of the Kent Place series at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.

The show is called “Vegas at The Place.” Jones performs a concert of legendary voices, clean comedy and a plethora of celebrity impersonations.

Also included are snacks, dinner, informational booths, interactive games and 20 minute individual sessions with Social Security Administration staff expert Kirk Larson providing SSA web tutoring.

Call 253-856-5164 for one of the limited SSA appointments available between 4:20 and 6 p.m. Participants of the interactive games may win door prize tickets for the grand prize drawing after the concert.

The Ramada Inn and Mitzel’s American Kitchen are contributing the grand prize: an overnight stay in the jetted-tub suite and dinner for two on a date to be decided.

The event runs from 5-8 p.m. and it is co-sponsored by Aegis Living, Farrington Court, Judson Park, Premera Blue Cross, Radcliffe Place, Regency Auburn and Stafford Suites.

Tickets are $8 per person, while limited supplies last. Tickets may be purchased over the phone with MC/Visa or in person at the Kent Senior Activity Center. Call 253-856-5150 for more information or to purchase tickets.
