King County Elections will mail ballots on Wednesday, July 15 for the Aug. 4 primary election, including one Kent City Council race.
Voters’ pamphlets are mailed separately and may arrive on a different day than ballots. Voters may also check MyVoterGuide online for a customized voters’ pamphlet.
The one City Council race is among Bailey Stober, Rich Brandau, Hira Singh Bhullar and Tina Budell. Brandau has dropped out for personal reasons but his name remains on the ballot. The two candidates with the most votes advance to the Nov. 3 general election.
King County Elections has forecast a registered voter turnout of 30 percent.
