A breakfast fundraiser on Thursday, May 10 in Kent will help support Willow’s Place, which feeds and provides basic needs to families and individuals at the New Beginnings Church.
The breakfast runs from 7:30-9 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church, 214 N. Washington Ave.
Local businesses and individuals have helped support the program, but more help is needed.
Down Home Catering, Golden Steer Steak ‘n Rib House and Maggie’s on Meeker are providing the breakfast at no cost to attendees.
Businesses and individuals are asked to choose one of the following sponsorships for Willow’s Place:
• $1,000 Major Sponsor provides basic services for 250 individuals for 1 night for 3 months
• $300 Sponsor provides basic services for 250 individuals for 1 night for 1 month
• $200 Sponsor provides basic services for 130 individuals for 1 night for 1 week
• $100 Sponsor provides basic services for 65 individuals for 1 night for 1 week
• $50 Sponsor provides basic services for 30 individuals for 1 night for 1 week
There also will be raffle baskets at the event. You can purchase six tickets for $5 or 25 tickets for $20.
