Kent’s ShoWare Center opens its doors from 9 to 11 a.m. each Monday and Wednesday, starting Nov. 3., for indoor fitness walking.
Presented by Kent4Health and sponsor Transdev Services, Inc., ShoWalk is a free indoor walking opportunity at the city-owned arena, 625 W. James Street. The walks continue through May 20.
ShoWare Center provides ‘ShoWalkers’ a full loop on the upper level for walkers and a horseshoe on the lower level for those with strollers or walking aids. Stairs are available for those interested in getting an additional cardio workout. Free blood pressure screenings are held on the second Monday and Wednesday of each month.
