Kent’s Derek Ray will among 175 students who will graduate from Eastside Catholic School on June 3.
The commencement ceremony for the Class of 2019, the school’s 37th graduating class, begins at 7:30 p.m. at Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
Ninety-eight percent of graduates will be attending 82 different colleges in 28 states and Canada in the fall. Ninety-eight seniors will be graduating with honors and one student, Rachael Goodwin, was named a National Merit Scholar.
A Baccalaureate Mass is at 7 p.m. Friday, May 31 at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish.
Ray will attend Western Oregon University on a football scholarship.
