Multi-Service Center (MSC) celebrated its new Kent location with a ribbon cutting.
The agency moved to a larger location at 24437 Russell Road, Suite 200, in order to be more accessible to its clients, according to an email from MSC communications director Sarah McNiesh. The office is between Shari’s Cafe and Pies and the Best Western Plus Plaza By The Green hotel, next to Riverbend Golf Complex. The former site was 515 W. Harrison St.
MSC is a nonprofit serving all of South King County with programs and resources to help support residents with basic needs such as energy assistance, housing, education and employment.
Among those on hand for the May 4 opening were Kent Mayor Dana Ralph, MSC CEO Robin Corak, Kent Chamber of Commerce administrative coordinator Lisa Conboy, Kent City Councilmember Satwinder Kaur and MSC board members Maria Tracy and Teleda Holmes.
