Long-time Kent resident Lilly Kato will discuss her experience growing up in Kent and life in a World War II Japanese internment camp as part of the Dessert Speaker Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at the Kent Historical Museum, 855 E. Smith St.
Tickets are $10, which includes the cost of dessert. The menu is fruit pie, coffee and tea.
