Kent’s Arbor Village Continuing Care Retirement Community will host a cooking competition among its chefs from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.
The event is at the Arbor Village Assisted Living Dining Room at 24121 116th Ave. S.E., and feature three teams of chefs from The Inn, The Village and The Lodge at Arbor Village. Teams will make dishes with a secret ingredient that they will only find out at the time of the event.
Join family member judges from all three buildings and Cascade Living Group representative Gayle Edwards; members of the Kent Fire Department; and Jim Berrios, owner of The Golden Steer Steak and Rib House, as they determine who will be the 2013 Arbor Village “Iron Chef.”
