The city of Kent will intermittently close the Interurban Trail between South 212th and 228th streets from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on July 21 through Sept. 30.
Crews need to close the trail for bridge excavation, concrete placement and paving, according to city officials. Bicyclists and pedestrians will be able to use a temporary gravel bypass pathway, although bicycle dismount may be necessary.
