Workshops are coming up July 20 and 27 for the Boomers and Aging Parents 101 program at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.
Information booths will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. both Fridays. Lunch is served for $6 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Kent Parks Deli and Cafe inside the senior center.
The program is designed to help start conversations to assist families in finding resources to help care for aging parents. All workshops are educational only and no commissioned sales representatives will participate in presentations.
Info booths and mini-workshops are free but advanced tickets are suggested for guaranteed seating space. While supplies last, limited discounted lunch tickets are available for $2 compliments of Fountain Court Senior Living.
