Volunteers are wanted by the city of Kent to do cleanup work on Saturday, April 18 at Morrill Meadows Park as part of the annual Earth Day celebration.
Crews are needed to destroy a large blackberry thicket as well as add cardboard and wood chips to needed areas.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the park, 10600 S.E. 248th St. Registration is required by noon on Wednesday, April 15.
