Kent School District is closing early today, Nov. 22, due to weather conditions. Group A Elementary schools were already scheduled to close 2.5 hours early and will do so; however parent conferences are cancelled.
All group B elementary schools and all secondary schools including middle and high schools are being dismissed 1.5 hours ahead of their regular dismissal times.
All evening events are cancelled including afternoon kindergarten and afternoon preschool, athletic practices, and meetings scheduled in district facilities.
At this time, Kent School District schools and offices are scheduled to open at the regular times on Tuesday, November 23. Please monitor the district’s website for updates.
If you are unsure if your child is part of the group A or group B schools, please check the district website.
