Kent schools close again on Tuesday due to inclement weather

The Kent School District closed all schools for the second straight day on Tuesday due to road conditions.

“While many high traffic areas are safe, not all roads have been treated and some areas are very icy,” according to a posting on the district’s website. “Additionally, today’s forecast does include more snow with a high near 34 and we must prioritize the safety of all students and staff.”

All school activities also are canceled, including any community-use events.

The district has its school closure policy on its website.
