Parents and family members of students in K-12 public schools are invited to attend OEO’s free “Finding Your Voice” Saturday Parent Institutes.
Attendees will learn how the public school system works, how to better communicate with schools, ways to prepare your student for college and how to become an education advocate. Free registration, lunch and materials are provided.
The event takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 17 at the New Holly Gathering Center, located at 7054 32nd Ave S. in Seattle.
