The Kent School District offers free Child Find screenings for children 3-5 years old who may have a disability. Children are screened in the areas of speech and language, vision, hearing, learning and motor development.
All screenings are at various Kent schools. Screenings will be in the areas of language, learning and motor development.
At least one parent must accompany the child to the screening, which takes approximately 1½ hours and are conducted by certificated staff.
Screening dates are: Sept. 12, 26; Oct. 10, 17; Nov. 14, 28; Dec. 12; Jan. 9, 30; Feb. 27; March 13, 27; April 24; and May 8.
