Kent Rotary recently honored its Students of the Month from Kentridge High School.
Vinh Van came to the United States 3½ years ago with no cultural knowledge and unable to speak English. His proudest accomplishment is his job as a tutor at the King County Library System, where he has tutored 110 children for more than 100 hours. His next educational stop will be at the University of Washington to study dentistry.
Abigail Dinius has a love of art and athletics. She has competed in volleyball, basketball and cross country. She is coaching fifth and sixth grade basketball at Renton Christian School. Her next future career path is leading her toward pediatric nursing.
