Kent Police stopped a vehicle Wednesday afternoon near Southeast 208th Avenue and 108th Avenue Southeast that reportedly was involved in a robbery earlier in the parking lot at the Fred Meyer store, 10201 S.E. 240th St.
A citizen allegedly was stuck up in the parking lot while doing a craigslist transaction, according to an email from Kent Police Assistant Chief Pat Lowery.
The suspect vehicle fled northbound on 108th Avenue Southeast and was stopped near Southeast 208th Avenue in the Panther Lake area. Officers detained some people and are investigating the incident, Lowery said.
