Kent Police are looking for Shawn David Gulseth in connection with the death Dec. 21 of a Kent woman.

The man allegedly connected with the Dec. 21 death of a 45-year-old Kent woman remained at large Wednesday.

Kent Police developed a lead Dec. 31 that they thought might help them find Shawn David Gulseth, the 40-year-old man wanted in connection with the death of Bonnie K. Peterson.

“We put people out in a dragnet to try to turn something over,” said Kent Police Lt. Pat Lowery in a phone interview Tuesday. “But they didn’t come up with anything that led them to him.”

Police checked a couple of locations but did not find Gulseth, Lowery said. Gulseth had a former romantic relationship with Peterson.

Officers found the body of Peterson Dec. 21 inside her Village at Lake Meridan apartment, 25811 110th Ave. S.E., after a call from a concerned friend.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Gulseth or sees him should call 911 immediately. Persons with information that may lead to his capture should call the Kent Police at 253-856-5808.

Gulseth is described as a 40-year-old white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 185 pounds. He has brown hair pulled back with a pony tail and has extensive tattoos from his neck to his arms.

Police are cautioning the public to not try to interfere with Gulseth.

Peterson lived alone at the apartment. She was a grandmother and had two grown daughters.

Police found the apartment in disarray and said there were signs of a struggle.
