Kent Police Detectives are hoping that the public can help identify a man wanted for the robbery of a U.S. Bank branch in Kent.
The robbery occurred at 10231 SE 240th St. in Kent’s East Hill area. The suspect entered the bank at about 5:25 p.m. on Nov. 27. He approached a bank teller at the counter and proceeded to present the bank teller with a note. While no weapon was seen, the note implied that the suspect had a gun. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash, whereupon he fled on foot.
Patrol officers saturated the immediate area. However, they were unsuccessful at locating the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, 24-30 in age, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7 tall and weighing about 155 to 160 pounds. The suspect was wearing a dark knit cap, a black sweatshirt and dark jeans.
Detectives are asking members of the community to contact the Kent Police Department tip line at 253-856-5808 with any information that would be of assistance in this investigation.
