Kent Police are seeking the identity of this man in connection with a Dec. 3 bank robbery.

Kent Police want the public’s help to identify a bank robbery suspect.

Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in the evening hours on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Alaska USA Federal Credit Union within the Fred Meyer, 10201 SE 240th St., according to a police media release on Monday.

The bank teller reported that the suspect approached the teller window, presented a note which inferred a threat, whereupon the teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot.

Officers fanned out in the area in search of the suspect but were unsuccessful in locating the man. He was caught on the credit union video surveillance and is described as a white male adult, age 23-28 with facial hair. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, and described as having a medium build. He was wearing a stocking cap and a grey hooded sweatshirt with a grey “Nike” symbol on the front.

Police are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident or any similar case to call 911 or the Kent Police Department tip line at 253-856-5808.
