Kent Police are investigation the death of a woman who has found next to a trail in a wooded area of 24600 26th Place S., just west of Highway 99 on West Hill Saturday night.
Kent patrol units, responded to a welfare check in the area at approximately 7:42 p.m., found the woman unconscious and unresponsive with labored breathing. Lifesaving efforts were attempted, but the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
There is limited information as the investigation continues, police said. Detectives gathered information from witnesses and are collecting evidence from the scene, working to clarify the events that led to the suspicious circumstances, police said.
