A missing Kent teen was located Thursday evening in Auburn.
Kent Police sent out a media release earlier Thursday to seek help in finding Irina Aguilar-Gonzalez, an 18-year-old mentally delayed woman.
“She was said to be somewhat disoriented but otherwise doing well,” said Kent Police spokeswoman Melanie Frazier. “I have no other details.”
Aguilar-Gonzalez had last been seen Wednesday evening, May 14. It was reported that she and her mother got into an argument whereupon Aguilar-Gonzalez walked away from her West Hill residence in the vicinity of the 2900 block of South 252nd Street.
She and her family recently moved to Kent from Sumner.
“We are understandably concerned for Aguilar-Gonzalez and so is her family,” said Frazier about the initial missing report. “This is out of the ordinary for her, and with her mental instability it makes her that much more vulnerable.”
