Kent Police recently arrested a 13-year-old girl for investigation of robbery after she allegedly robbed a bank.
The girl entered Banner Bank, 1140 W. Meeker St., on April 13 and presented a note to a teller demanding money, according to a report this week from Derek Matheson, city chief administrative officer, to the City Council about crime activities.
The teller gave the girl about $2,000 and she fled the bank.
Police quickly responded and located a girl matching the suspect’s description. Officers arrested the girl.
